Who Can Benefit From A Microsoft Windows Networks Connection?

Microsoft windows networks connection, before we look at how and who can benefit from alet's start by defining what a Microsoft network is.

Microsoft Windows Networks is a system of two or more computers that are connected in some manner (you have lots of choices about the “manner”). Each computer is then able to talk with the other computers on the window home network.

The ability to communicate gives access to the files and peripheral equipment (such as printers or modems) on all the other computers on the microsoft windows networks. You create those connections with the following elements:

  • hardware in each computer that permits the computer to communicate
  • a cable or a wireless technology that sends data between the computers (using the hardware you installed).
  • software that operates the hardware. (Microsoft windows networks software is covered under a different topic when we are actually needing to perform the step)

Don’t Worry...

Microsoft windows networks, are not hard to build in fact, believe it or not, installing the hardware and software you need on each computer is not complicated at all. Just start with the first computer, and go through the process one step at a time, After you finish setting up that first computer, you’ll see how logical and simple the tasks are.

Before we move on...

If you are in need of some of the hardware mentioned above.

Or perhaps you are just starting to round up all the networking hardware to created your first computer home network here are a couple of resources that I found not only to be reliable, but they usually have a great deals:

  • Here is a link to Cyberguys homepage, once there look at all the products on the left menu. I always find good deals here.

  • This one I just found, SAVE with NETGEAR Networking Products by clicking here

  • This is my second favorite spot to hang out at! Their slogan ought to tell you why ;-) "Super Selection, Super Savings, Super Service... SuperWarehouse.com" Pretty cool huh.

Well that should get you started for now. If you need more resources, sign up for my news letter, when ever I find great deals I will pass it on through my newsletter (opens in new window).

    Well moving on...

Can You Benefit From A Microsoft Windows Networks?

If you have more than one computer in your home, you can benefit from a Microsoft windows networks. Because most are trying desperately to fit all they have to do into one day, anytime we can save time its worth it.

Besides, you should do everything in the easiest possible manner… Agreed?

Microsoft windows networks just makes networking multiple computers easier and if you have a Microsoft windows network, you have the added convenience of using any computer that is available on your home network, even if the files you are working on was started on a different computer.

    It’s true…

You don’t even have to remember which computer you were using when you started that letter to mom because you can just reach across your home network to finish it using any computer that is sharing files on the home network. I cover this in more detail under “file sharing”. You can get there from the navigation bar.

Basically, a window home network connection allows you to do the work you have to do, only better and more efficiently.

    But there’s more…

Home networking connections can also save you money by sharing internet connections and hardware resources. Some of the most common uses and benefits of using a home network is the ability to have one internet connection shared by the entire home network. That means that every computer on the home network can share that one internet connection but you only pay for one internet connection!

And instead of buying more hardware, you can share storage space, CD-Rom drives and other resources just by making them available on your Microsoft home network.

    You Maintain Power And Control

One of the best reasons to set up a home network connection is that when you install it, you become the home network administrator, the person with the power. So you control which files the other home network users can access, as well as which printers and files they can use. Talk about power!

And best thing about being the home network administrator is that the title makes it sound like you do a lot of important stuff ;-)
